Be transported to Marrakesh in this delicious and hands on cooking class. Students will learn to make chicken tagine with apricots and almonds, chickpea and carrot salad, and orange and dates drizzled with cinnamon honey. Simple ingredients, bold flavors and something everyone can savor.
Chef Tisha is the owner of Versatile Catering, a woman and minority-owned catering company. She blends African, Caribbean and global flavors to create bold, made-from-scratch dishes that honor tradition but with a modern twist.
This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.
For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class.
No refunds will be granted for Let’s Cook@Casey programs. A one-time registration transfer is available to a Let’s Cook@Casey class of equal value if the exchange request is submitted in writing to LetsCook@gaithersburgmd.gov no less than 48 hours before the scheduled program time.
