Come learn some Indian comfort food recipes. Dr. Shonali Nazare will teach students how to make popular Indian dishes Palak Paneer - a creamy spinach dish with soft Indian cheeses, Indian flatbread, and a refreshing rose flavored yogurt drink.

Originally from India, Dr. Shonali Nazare brings a deep love for nutritious, flavorful food and the science behind it. A former contestant on MasterChef UK, Shonali combines culinary creativity with a strong foundation in health and wellness. She looks forward to sharing her passion for Indian cuisine and healthy eating with you in a fun, flavorful, and inspiring cooking experience.

This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.

For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class.

No refunds will be granted for Let’s Cook@Casey programs. A one-time registration transfer is available to a Let’s Cook@Casey class of equal value if the exchange request is submitted in writing to LetsCook@gaithersburgmd.gov no less than 48 hours before the scheduled program time.
