Come on a Wake Audubon bird walk at Hilltop Needmore Town Park one Saturday of each month! Class will meet at the lower end of the old Club House parking lot, and the walk will start promptly at 8:30AM regardless of the weather and should finish by 10:30AM. Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk on the wet grass fairways and see lots of birds!
No birding experience is necessary. Bring your binoculars and a bird guide if you have one.
Important Update: New Recreation Registration SystemWe're moving to a new and improved registration system called RecTrac! Here's what you need to know:- Create Your Account: Starting May 4th, 2026, you can create your new RecTrac account by going to the Town of Fuquay-Varina PRCR website.- Full Switch to RecTrac: All program registration will happen in RecTrac starting Monday, June 1st, 2026.- May Programs: Registration for May programs and Senior Trips will remain open in ActiveNet until Saturday, May 30th. You will not be able to register for May programs after May 30th.- June-August Programs: Registration for June-August programs will open in RecTrac on Monday, June 1st.
