Advisor: John Loero Email: john.loero@basisindependent.com Pilot Prep is an extracurricular that introduces students to the science, technology, and decision-making skills required to be a pilot. Curriculum follows FAA-aligned private pilot ground training designed to establish foundational knowledge in aerodynamics, aircraft systems, weather, navigation, flight planning, and FAA regulations. This prepares students to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test. Students who wish to pursue flight training may independently enroll with a flight school. Flight training is not required for participation. Costs associated with optional flight training are separate and not included in tuition.
