Description
Back-to-School Nutrition Series: The Gut-Health Connection at Franklin Recreation Complex
Helping Your child/teen Thrive from the Inside Out
As students head back to the classroom, nutrition can play a powerful role in supporting their ability to thrive. Emerging research continues to reveal that the gut is far more than a system for digestion—it is a central communication hub that influences immune function, inflammation, hormones, mood, skin health, energy, and even brain function. In this three-part Back-to-School Nutrition Series, parents will learn how supporting the gut microbiome through targeted nutrition strategies can help optimize their child’s overall health and wellness.
Designed for parents and caregivers of children each 90-minute session will provide practical, science-based strategies that can be implemented at home to support growing bodies, developing brains, and lifelong health habits. Sessions are booked separately, allowing families to choose the topics most relevant to their needs.
It is your responsibility to read the class description and location information.
