Note: This is registration for CAST for Little Women (Payment Plan 1 of 2).
For the summer of 2026, Straight to the Stars will produce Kate Hamill’s popular, modern stage adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel, Little Women, for their annual non-musical production.
Jo March isn’t your typical Victorian lady. She’s indecorous and headstrong, and one day she’s going to be a great American novelist. As she and her sisters grow up in the middle of the Civil War, they strive to be brave, intelligent and imaginative young women. But as adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations. In a war-torn world defined by gender, class and personal tragedy, Jo March gives us her greatest story: that of the March sisters, four dreamers destined to be imperfect little women. In classic Kate Hamill fashion, a literary masterpiece is updated and refreshed for the modern age, with focus given to the strong, seldom well-behaved women who make history. Bursting with humor and emotional intelligence, this Little Women speaks across centuries and generations.
Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays starting May 26, from 5:30-8:30pm at the Williamson County Enrichment Center. There will also be Saturday afternoon rehearsals on May 30, June 13, and June 27. (There will be no rehearsal on June 16 or June 18.) Tech week rehearsals will be July 13-16 in the evenings at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center.
There will be 4 performances July 17-19, 2026 at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center as follows:• Friday, July 17 at 7pm• Saturday, July 18 at 2pm and 7pm• Sunday, July 19 at 2pm
Note: There is an optional show t-shirt that can be purchased for $10. You must select the additional t-shirt fee and also select the applicable shirt size during registration.
