Description

While the newfound freedom of high school and college life is what students look forward to, parents tend to worry about the uncertain circumstances. Self-defense training is a great way to help the parent and student feel confident as they enter this new phase of life. When our lifestyles changes, it is important to adapt our personal safety plan to coincide with those changes. This workshop will address general safety strategies, along with resources that are unique to college campuses. We will also prepare a plan for escaping a variety of situations, using physical skills that match the perceived threat in each of those instances.
