Beginner Wax Carving and Casting:
Wax Carving taught by Logan Crawford
Casting taught by Logan Crawford and Daniel Carpenter

Class schedule: Jan 19th - Mar 9th. 6pm - 9pm
(no class Jan. 26th and Feb. 23rd)

Join our Beginner Wax Carving and Casting class to discover the art of transforming wax models into custom metal jewelry. Over the course of six weeks, participants will learn the fundamental steps in creating a signet ring through hands-on instruction.

What You Will Learn

  • Carving a signet ring from wax using the hard wax subtraction method.
  • Calculating the correct amount of metal needed for casting.
  • Preparing investment for casting.
  • Understanding and performing kiln burnout.
  • Vacuum casting your ring.
  • Finishing techniques to complete your jewelry piece.

  • **Materials and Supplies**
    All necessary supplies are provided, with the exception of the casting metal, which participants will need to supply.
