Bronze Star is designed to further develop swimming proficiency, personal fitness, and lifesaving skills. Stroke mechanics will be fine-tuned, fitness principles and self-rescue skills will be taught. Bronze Star serves to prepare candidates for Bronze Medallion and introduce them to lifesaving sport. Recommended prerequisite Canadian swim patrol /span>
