Learn the art of monoprinting, where an image is pulled from a smooth surface coated in acrylic paint — no press needed. Each print is one-of-a-kind. We'll use botanical elements and found objects to create texture on vintage dictionary pages, maps, book pages, and more. Feel free to bring your own old dictionary pages, maps, or book pages to use. This workshop is part of a 5-part Printmaking Series with Sabine Hahnbueck at Flockworks Creative Center. Each session stands on its own, so come to just this one or join us for the whole series! Artist: Sabine Hahnbueck grew up in Germany, where she studied Art and Graphic Design. She is a skilled printer and teacher who operates an antique letterpress printing press at her studio in Fort Bragg, creating handmade letterpress cards sold in her shop and online.
