About this event
All Levels $70-$120 Materials and Studio Fees* Explore the art of forging as a tool for jewelry making. In this two-day intensive workshop, attendees will learn foundational forging techniques such as tapering, scrolling, and shaping copper rod/wire and sheet. Projects include creating a forged and twisted cuff bracelet, and a forged leaf pendant. Participants will develop the skills to add texture, movement, and organic forms to their jewelry, gaining confidence in incorporating forging into both small- and large-scale designs. *Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in.
