About this event
Pressure can narrow your perspective and make it harder to respond in ways you trust. In this practical four-class series, you’ll learn to meet stress, conflict, uncertainty, and strong emotion without losing access to yourself. Through guided exercises, real-life scenarios, and the five-step SNAP method—Stop, Notice, Allow, Plan, Choose—you’ll practice regaining perspective, communicating clearly, and choosing a trustworthy next step. Cost: $265 | Early registration: $235 through September 23 To Register: WHY THESE SKILLS MATTER Knowing what to do is not the same as being able to do it under pressure. When you are activated, it can be harder to think clearly, listen well, make decisions, or act in accordance with your values. These skills are indispensable because pressure is unavoidable. The ability to remain connected to yourself within it affects your relationships, decisions, work, health, and capacity to recover afterward. WHO IT’S FOR This class is for anyone who wants to: ● Respond more intentionally during stressful or emotionally charged moments ● Communicate more clearly in conflict ● Make decisions without being driven entirely by urgency, fear, or reactivity ● Set boundaries and take action without abandoning themselves ● Build greater resilience and self-trust ● Carry less stress from one part of life into another No prior experience with meditation, mindfulness, or stress-management practices is needed. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN Over four classes, you’ll learn how to: ● Recognize what happens in your body and mind under pressure ● Interrupt automatic reactions without suppressing what you feel ● Regain access to perspective, judgment, values, and support ● Work with strong emotion without letting it make every decision ● Identify what a situation actually requires ● Choose and communicate a trustworthy next step ● Recover, reflect, and repair after difficult moments ● Apply SNAP at home, at work, and in important conversations THE FOUR CLASS PROGRESSI
