About this event

Description

Please join EPRD's Active Adult Programs and Anthem Memory Care for a community presentation on understanding memory changes, dementia, and how to support those individuals with these symptoms!
Whether you're curious about normal aging, concerned about memory loss, or caring for a loved one with any of these symptoms, this session offers insights on how to navigate memory care with confidence. This presentation will be led by Deb Becker, LCSW, and Greg Morris, Dir., from Willowbrook Place, professionals in the field of Memory Care and Dementia who want to share their knowledge with our community.
Come learn, ask questions, and connect with others-because staying informed is one of the best ways to stay empowered.
Topics will include:
  • early signs to watch for
  • normal aging vs. specific symptoms
  • practical tips for brain health
  • how to support a loved one with these diagnoses
  • ...and so much more!
This is a FREE seminar that is open to all adults in and around the Evergreen, CO area! No registration is necessary, EPRD membership is not required! Please feel free to bring your friends, neighbors, family members, and more to join us.
This event will take place at the Bristlecone Louge at the Buchanan Park Recreation Center on Wednesday, September 16th from 11am-12:30pm. Light refreshments and informational materials will be available for all attendees.
