Come and Dino-SOAR into JCPL’s Summer Reading program and Evergreen Parks and Recreation's Summer Programs with a Kite Flying Day!
Jefferson County Public Library and EPRD are excited to announce 2 Kite Flying Days open to any and all participants from around Evergreen! Join us for a fun morning of kite decorating and flying surrounded by the beauty of Evergreen Lake.
These events will take place from 10am-1pm on Wednesday June 10th and Wednesday July 8th, and will be taking place at EPRD's Lake House on the lawn/open space area.
No registration is required to attend, as the Kite Flying Days are FREE and OPEN to the public with ALL AGES WELCOME!
JCPL will provide kites and decoration materials, so be sure to bring your artistic sense of adventure as we create and fly our own original kites! Participants are recommended to come prepared with sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, and water as it should be quite sunny and warm (and hopefully windy!).
