EPRD and Active Adult Programs have gone Fishin'-and we want you to join us!

The Early Bird Angler's Club is perfect for anyone who enjoys good company, calm waters, and the chance to catch "the big one"...or lie about it at least (we certainly won't tell!).

This fishing club is designed for Active Adults and their family or friends to get together as a group and explore some of the BEST fishing spots in the area, while also receiving some tips and tricks to learn how to catch and land more fish. Each month, we will travel to a new lake, stream, or river to try our hand at fishing, utilizing the techniques proven to be successful in those areas. Any fish caught are welcome to be kept and cleaned, according to local and State rules and regulations.

Registration is REQUIRED for all participants, as are Fishing Licenses for everyone. **Note-we must see a copy (digital or printed) of everyone's fishing license before departing for the day. Fishing licenses can be purchased in person at several retailers in and around Evergreen, or online at Purchase License - Colorado Parks and Wildlife IPAWS. Licenses can be purchased day of for single days, multiple days, or annually.

We will meet as a group at the Bristlecone Lounge at BPRC at 7:00am and will be departing for the fishing location by 7:20am. Transportation to and from the location will be provided by EPRD's Active Adult Programs and will return all participants to BPRC by 12:30pm (or later if the fish are bitin' too good!).

Please Note: This event is considered Moderate in terms of difficulty. Participants must be able to use stairs to get on/off of vehicle, walk over uneven/grassy areas, and utilize public/temporary restrooms on their own. Most of the areas we will be fishing are ADA compliant but may be slightly difficult to maneuver. We do have several Wheelchair accessible spots available on the bus and would love to have those individuals join us!

All participants will be responsible for providing the following for themselves and anyone accompanying them:

• Fishing Poles, Tackle, Baits, Lures, Nets, and any other necessary items
• Food, Drinks, Sunglasses, Hat, Bug Spray, Gloves
• Folding Chairs or Seats
• Camera or phones to take lots of pictures!

EPRD will be providing light refreshments and snacks during the trip, anything else desired will need to be provided by the participants. For questions about what to bring if you're unsure, please reach out!
