Free popcorn for film lovers, as we gather to watch “Fargo,” famous for its unique blend of dark comedy, crime, and authentic Midwestern charm, under Frances McDormand’s iconic performance as a pregnant sheriff. Directed by the Coen brothers, it is celebrated for its precise dialogue, brilliant script, and for falsely claiming to be a "true story" to enhance its mythic tone.
Drop-in for the popcorn and relaxed atmosphere. Those interested in taking a deeper dive can stay for an optional post-movie discussion of topics like character, themes, production and media representation.
