Description

Fridays 6:00-10:00, Saturdays & Sundays 10:30-7:300, Feb 20 - 22.
Prerequisites: 15 years old, and Bronze Cross, (Assistant Instructor or assisting experience considered an asset).
The Swim Instructor course prepares the new instructor to teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society's Swim For Life program. Candidates learn proven teaching methods, planning skills, a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. There may be homework in this course.
