Friday 6:00-10:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:30-7:30.
Prerequisites: 15 years old, and Bronze Cross (Assistant Instructor or other teaching/assisting experience considered an asset)
The Swim Instructor course prepares the new instructor to teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society's Swim For Life program. Candidates learn proven teaching methods, planning skills, a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. There may be homework in this course.
All candidates must bring valid proof of identity. Options include: Driver's Licence, Passport, Photo Heath Card, Birth Certificate.
