Earn Your High School Equivalency Diploma: HiSET Prep Take the first step. We are with you every step of the way. Earning your high school credential is life-changing, and you can absolutely do it. The HiSET is a set of five subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Science. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help, but our staff is patient, kind, and ready to support you. We will never rush you or judge you. We work around your schedule with morning and evening hours during the school year. During the summer months, we'll get you started depending on the preparation you need, you may be able to start taking tests. First, you will meet one-on-one with a supportive advisor to talk about your goals and learn what to expect. We will help you take some simple practice tests. These aren't tests you can fail—they just show us what you already know so we don't waste your time. Everyone asks, "How long will this take?" Because everyone learns differently, your advisor will help you make a personal, step-by-step study plan based on your practice tests. We will teach you simple strategies and skills so you can walk into the real tests feeling calm and confident.
