Discover the wonders of lightning bugs! Use flashlights to mimic the unique flash pattern of different lightning bug species. Use nets and bug boxes to see how many you can catch as the sun starts to set! Enjoy stories and s’mores to complete this fun, summer adventure!
Fee is for one parent and one child. Please enter the attending parent’s name in the question “Names of Family Member attending” during registration.

Detailed information is emailed to participants in the week prior to the program. This program meets at the campfire ring in Rockburn Branch Park WEST – the Montgomery Road entrance adjacent to Rockburn Elementary School. This is NOT the same side as the turf fields off Landing Road. Exact directions to the location in the park will be in the program letter.Consult only this program status line within one hour of the program start time: 410-313-4451, press option 1 THEN option 4.
