Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Bouley is a debut young adult thriller by Angeline Boulley that follows Daunis Fontaine, an 18-year-old biracial girl navigating her identity between her French and Ojibwe heritage. The story unfolds as Daunis confronts corruption in her community while dealing with personal tragedy and the complexities of her cultural background.
