Animation is a versatile medium that allows animators to explore storytelling beyond traditional drawing. Paper, clay, and even sand have proven to be other unique ways to animate a tale. This six-week course will focus on understanding basic animation principles, with each class working with a different medium. Budding animators who wish to experiment beyond traditional pencil and paper will develop a strong foundation, continue to build their knowledge of art and animation, and hone their unique skills. This course is designed for beginning students, new to the WDFM offerings and After School Animation. Continuing students are welcome to take the class to explore new materials and techniques to enhance their skills.
