Description
Youth or adult participants.
Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities.
Bronze Cross is the prerequisite for all advanced training programs including National Lifeguard and Instructor certification.
Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion & AB Workplace Standard First Aid
Youth or adult participants. Must be at least 13 years old and recommended to have a current Intermediate First Aid. Focuses on swimming, lifesaving skills and first aid.

Please bring pen and paper, swimsuit and towel. Please bring any previous books if you have any.
