This is a beginner level class and is a great option for anyone looking to explore clay by getting a look at throwing on the wheel and learn a little bit of hand building. Students will start to learn techniques such as throwing on the wheel, pinching, coiling, and the use of slabs during this class, as well as how to finish and glaze pots according to our studio’s systems. Enrollment in this class allows students unlimited access to the open studio for the duration of the class, and provides the students with one bag of clay, and one class per week.
