This class will explore three questions:

• Why native plants are important
• Their wide variety and best locations
• How plantings at locations such as Source Point can be both beautiful and healthy.

We will explore these together, using a wide variety of materials, including websites, articles, guest speakers and one reference book. This will not be a lecture or talk by an expert. The "teacher" is the current co-coordinator for the North Central Ohio Pollinator Pathway, which has helped install over 30 native gardens around Delaware, but this will be a class where we teach each other what matters most about native plants and how they can become more a part of our surrounding landscapes.
