Dr. Richard Owens, tenured history professor, published author of articles, historical novels, and children's books will share six weeks of history on the 1960s.
April 10: 1960-1963, When and what were the 1960s
April 17: 1964, LBJ in the Shadow of Camelot
April 24: The Great Society, Toward the Great Society: Progressivism and the New Deal.
May 1: Foreign Policy and International Affairs Under JFK and LBJ, Background: the Cold War.
May 15: Cultural Changes in the 1960s.
May 22: The Year 1968.
