We're celebrating Older Driver Safety Awareness Week with a special screening of "The Straight Story". "The Straight Story" (1999) is a docudrama that tells the true story of Alvin Straight, a 73-year-old, who learns that his estranged brother, Lyle is critically ill. Unable to drive, Alvin embarks on a journey from Iowa to Mt. Zion by riding a lawn mower.
Find more information in the Transitions in Aging brochure for other driver safety events happening that week.
