This is an opportunity for community members with prior experience, but without the resources at home to access a coal forge. With a focus on artisan and structural steel use, (with the exception of blade making) Eric will advise on projects like fire pokers, wall hangings, gate hinges and hooks of all kinds. Details: 12pm - 3pm, Sept 18, Oct 9, Nov 20, Dec 4, Cap of 6 people $40/$55/$75/$95 per session Participants must have some prior experience and provide their own materials. Tools available include: forge, anvils, hammers, tongs and some tooling. Safety glasses and aprons will be available and are required to be used. Feel free to bring personal tools and safety equipment. This class is for ages 16 and up, or by permission of the director.
