"There's no place like home" unless you're at theatre class! Follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they escape the Wicked Witch and meet the Wizard of Oz in the hopes of having their hearts' desires granted. Throughout the session, students will learn about the theatre, play drama games, sing and dance to their favorite songs, and collaborate with their peers to devise original stories and create sweetly naive or wicked characters. The session ends with an informal performance transporting parents "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" where dreams really do come true! *If your child normally attends aftercare, students will be transported to Prairieview for BACC at the end of our class. Please make sure to note on your child's registration form if they should go to BACC. We will provide the school with the list of students attending aftercare prior to the start of the session.
