Period D: Creative Writing with Myths and Legends Step into a world of heroes, monsters, and magical stories! Campers will explore myths and legends from cultures around the world, using them as inspiration to create their own original stories every day. Campers will learn how to build strong characters and heroes, create exciting plots, and build creative worlds for their legends. Campers will get the opportunity to utilize cultural and family stories to bring a personal myth to life. No prior knowledge of mythology is required and writers of all levels are encouraged to join. Period D: CIS Design Lab: 3D Printing and Laser Cutting In this hands-on class, campers will learn to use 3D printers and laser cutters in the Athenian Carter Innovation Studio to design and build their own interactive projects. Campers will learn the fundamentals of engineering design, from problem-solving to prototyping. No experience is required!
