JOIN US on Saturday, June 27th for the 11th annual Independence Day 5k/1K!  You will have the awesome experience of running to celebrate America's birthday; 250 years! The 5K will take you through the streets of Cumming.

Event details and schedule

RACE START TIME:

8:00am 5K

9:00am (approx) 1K

COST:

5K -  $25.00 until June 9th at 11:59pm

          $27.00 from June 10th until June 20th at 11:59pm

          $30.00 from June 21st to race day

 1K - $15.00 till  @ 6/20th @ 11:59pm, then $20.00 till race day.

 Tot-Trot Free!

 COURSE:

 The 5K will take you through the streets of Cumming. same course for 2026 as 2025 the start and finish are at the same location. Downhill to Flat finish.  

1K Fun Run and Tot Trot at the start/finish line on Almon Hill Drive.

PACKET PICK-UP:

RACE DAY Packet Pickup/Registration will begin at 6:30 am, on Almon C Hill Drive (in Front of The Almon C Hill Center).

T-SHIRTS:

All participants registered by June 16th will be guarenteed a T-Shirt.  Paticipants registered June 17 and later will not be guarenteed a T-shirt. YOU NOW HAVE A CHOICE between Women's Racerback Tank or Unisex T.

FREE PARKING:

There are several free areas off Tribble Gap Road to park in short proxsimity to the Start/Finish area.  

RACE PURPOSE (OUR CAUSE)

Our fundraising goals for 2026 are to help local disadvantaged adolescents by giving them the opportunity to join local Cross country and or school track or XC programs that otherwise their parents of guardian wouldn’t be able to afford. 

Post Race:

Awards for Overalls, Masters and age group medals 1st, 2nd and 3rd starting at age 10 and under to 70+ (5year increments)

NEW 250th AMERICA ANNIVERSARY DIE CAST FINISHING MEDALS FOR ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS.
