Join us for this Parent (Guardian/Aunt/Uncle/Grandparent) Child beginner Kayaking Lesson at Cultus Lake. Each Parent may bring up to 3 youth. A registration for each participant is required. This is a set of 4 kayaking lessons on Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. What will you learn: Level 1: These classes will embrace all beginners. Learn how to get in and out of a boat, launch independently, balance on the water, properly hold a paddle, reverse and forward sweep to pivot, stop, wet exit without a spraydeck, and paddle backwards. Level 2: These classes are for the learner who is ready to continue building their paddling foundation. Learn how to select a kayak and paddle that fits you, dry and wet exit with a spraydeck, forward and reverse paddle in a straight line, hold your tilted boat on its edge, draw to bow/stern while pivoting 360° and use safety river signals. No prerequisites. A CCE Club Membership is required for this package.
