What is the latest research conducted in our county? Find out from the experts. The District is well known to have outside agencies and individuals to study various topics in regards to ecology and culture. Each presenter will have 30mins to talk about their topic and answer questions. Coffee will be available with some light snacks.

• UPDATE "McHenry County Christmas Bird Count" by past President of McHenry County Audubon Society, Stacy Iwanicki.
• "Annual Midwest Crane Count in McHenry Illinois" by Stacy Iwanicki, Natural Resources Coordinator with Illinois Department of Natural Resources. She works at Volo Bog State Natural Area, Moraine Hills State Park and McHenry Dam. As past president of McHenry County Audubon, she loves all things birds and partnering with other environmental educators on several projects and bird-related programs. Stacy has been coordinating the Annual Midwest Crane Count in McHenry County since 2011. She enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and dogs, and looks forward to her retirement this March. They plan to move to Washburn, WI, a little town on the shores of a big lake called Superior.
