Have you ever wondered what animals might have lived in our area once upon a time, but are no longer found here? Learn about the extinct and extirpated animals from generations past, and discover the factors that led to their departure. We will begin with some ice age megafauna as a springboard, but will mostly focus on more recent species that departed in the last 300 years.
