In this first installment of our community sustainability series, we welcome you to get ready for our upcoming family camp out happening at the Plainsboro Preserve on September 19th-20th! Bring your extra camping gear to swap with others who may be looking to add to their collection, and take home a new-to-you item in the process!
This activity will be a one-for-one swap, with individuals receiving one ticket for each item they bring to trade. Participants will then turn in those tickets in exchange for a different item of their choosing. All items must be clean and in working order, and be in either gently-used or new condition.
No items may be brought in prior to this activity, and no items may be stored or otherwise left on the premises without prior approval of the activity hosts.
Please arrive on time at 5 PM so that items brought may be inspected and arranged in the swapping area, and tickets can be dispersed to participants. Participating individuals will then be able to exchange their tickets for their new items starting promptly at 5:30 PM. This will be a first-come, first-served activity, and once an item has been exchanged and leaves the swapping area there will be no item returns or exchange reversals.
Additional upcoming item exchanges in our community sustainability series will be a Field Guide & Nature Book Swap (held on Oct. 11th) and an Outdoor Clothing & Winter Coat Exchange (held on Nov. 21st). We will also be holding our annual End of Summer Plant & Seed Swap on September 27th.

Please note: All paid programs and activities are subject to a $2.75 fee when registering in-person and is non-refundable. We only accept cash or check for in-person registrations. When registering online all paid programs and activities are subject to a convenience fee of 5.82% and is non-refundable.
