In this class, we’ll use traditional media with pencil, pen, ink and paper to sketch and create comics. Each class we’ll work on one short comic idea and continue a longer project, while also practicing specific techniques for creating interesting panels and combining words and images.
Classes will include a tool and resource overview, The Diary Comic,story ideas, penciling and inking, character design, drawing styles, story crafting, outlining and thumbnailing your comic story, themes and central ideas in comics.
In the final class, we will showcase your comics!
