This FREE class uses flexibility, light strength training, aerobic walking and health education to promote increased health and fitness. It is a great entry level class to help you get back into exercising. Join us if you are experiencing osteoarthritis, limited mobility or have reservations about starting a fitness class.
This program is endorsed by the CDC and the National Council on Aging. Class meets for 24 sessions. A commitment to participating three times a week for eight weeks is expected and highly recommended to succeed in this program. Showing up to the first class is essential.
No class on September 7.
Due to grant funding guidance, we request students do not enroll more than twice for this course. We recommend continuing with your fitness program by participating in the Fitness Foundations group exercise class, Walk With Ease or another group exercise course.
