How does a telescope work? What about binoculars? Did you just purchase or are looking to purchase a new telescope or binoculars and want to know what to look for and how to use them? We’ll cover types of telescopes and binoculars in depth. What to look for and what to avoid. We’ll also address how to properly set up a telescope to allow you to find and track astronomical objects. We’ll examine accessories that will enhance your viewing experience, including eyepieces, filters and observing support tools such as star atlases and software. We will provide informative handouts that you can review at home.
