Geocaching is the world’s biggest treasure hunt! On September 19th, Francis Small Heritage Trust volunteers will lead a geocaching hike at the Sisson Heath, (gps address 1236 Sokokis Trail N, Cornish, ME 04020), a beautiful, 188-acre protected wetland and nature area spanning Limerick and Cornish. It is easy to get involved in Geocaching, and this hike would allow people a starting point in this fun family activity. It is helpful to download the app from Geocaching.com prior to the event, but not necessary. Due to limited parking at the Sisson Heath, there will be parking attendants and we recommend car pooling if possible. Please pre-register if possible. Sat.
