Splintz the Turkey is back again with a bigger & more wild 5k!
Bring the family as we will have an array of local business & free activities that will you even more of a reason to come root on your favorite runner or just to help out! THE LEGEND OF SPLINTZ: HYPER TROT 3000
After pulling off the heist of the century in Round 2—crossing the finish line atop an unauthorized skateboard hidden under his tail feathers & somehow evading disqualification—Splintz got cocky. Normal birds would lie low. Splintz? He decided Round 3 demanded a neon-drenched, synth-fueled reinvention.
With BSG Coffee's new Colombian Black Cat Coffee. One sip of that light-roasted rocket fuel sent Splintz’s power level skyrocketing clean past 3,000. He went full Tron mode: glowing geometric grids trailing in his wake, styled head-to-toe like the caffeine-addled lovechild of Jane Fonda & Richard Simmons. Outfitted in electric headbands, blazing neon kicks, and dialed in with regular tune-ups from Elite Recovery, he claims he is finally on the up-and-up. He says he's a reformed athlete running on pure turkey grit and clean stamina. Nobody is buying it.He’s definitely going to cheat. We don’t know if he has rocket boosters stashed in Donald Anderson Park or rollerblades concealed in the brush, but America’s most competitive bird is plotting something shady. While you're out there trying to catch a neon blur, your steps are making a genuine impact. Turkey Trot Rnd 3 is proudly running in support of two game-changing causes: The Kiwanis Club: Empowering local youth and serving communities through hands-on service projects and student leadership programs. The 22q Family Foundation: Raising awareness, providing vital resources, and supporting individuals and families affected by 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Fueled by Be Someone Good Cafe & tuned up by Elite Recovery Sports and Therapeutic Massage, this is your year to smoke this bird!
