Dedicated time to read, grow as readers, and achieve their Accelerated Reader (AR) goals. Led by Mrs. Ortega, a Riviera teacher, students will enjoy a quiet and supportive environment where they can read self-selected AR books, strengthen reading comprehension through guided discussions and activities, and receive assistance with understanding key story elements, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies. Students will also have the opportunity to take Accelerated Reader quizzes during class, helping them monitor their progress and build confidence as independent readers.
