For beginners and those looking to revisit the fundamentals. Learn to prepare clay, basic handbuilding techniques, and be introduced to the wheel, finishing and glazing. Requests for specific projects may be accommodated. Firing and 11 weeks of Open Studio access is included. Open Studio access is limited, and students must sign up in advance to reserve.
| For the first class, new students should purchase a bag of M-340 clay and a pottery tool kit from Place des Arts’ Registration Desk. Other clay options and supplies will be discussed in class. |
