Through age-appropriate exercises, develop body alignment, rhythm, musicality, strength, and flexibility while honing discipline and artistry. Elements of the Vaganova and Cecchetti methods will be introduced. Lucienne Anczykowski is a professional ballet teacher certified in the Vaganova method, trained at the Polish State Ballet School, and earned her teaching credentials from the University of Music in Warsaw. She later danced with the Maurice Béjart Théâtre de XXe Siècle in Belgium. She continues to refine her teaching at the National Ballet School, and many of her former students have gone on to careers on Broadway and with the National Ballet of Canada. All students enrolled in September-June classes will participate in the year-end dance recital.
