Explore how a spinning wheel works and how its features can affect your spinning. Learn about fibre choice and preparation, drafting styles and basic techniques for spinning, plying and finishing yarns. Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace. Supplies included.

Spinning wheels are available for at-home practice; equipment loans require a deposit. Bring your own wheel if you have one. Registered students can sign-up for studio time to access equipment in the studio. The Open Studio Sign-Up Schedule will be emailed to students prior to the class start date.
