12:40 PM - 1:35 PM: Young ViolinistsDescription: Discover the magic of the violin! Learn the basics of violin technique before learning to play music with your classmates. Practice violins will be provided, or bring your own if you have one.Teacher: Genevieve MacKay
1:40 PM - 2:35 PM: Origami Place des ArtsDescription: Let's make a Place des Arts with paper! Learn to make a flautist, a clay artist, a ballerina, and a painter made of paper. Express your creativity while developing precision and colour sense.Teacher: Sarah Park
2:50 PM - 3:45 PM: Impressed PrintmakingDescription: Learn how to transform your drawings into vibrant prints using monoprinting, collagraph, gelli plate, and relief carving experimentation. Numerous techniques will be introduced and explored so you can create unique, one-of-a-kind artworks.Teacher: Tami Murray
Outdoor activities may occur during the camp week and will be supervised and within walking distance of Place des Arts.
