During two wars, Washington built, oversaw the building of, or advocated for a change of route of. 7 roads: six in the French & Indian War, and one in the American Revolution. We will cover the types of tools used for 18th century road-building; and the purpose & route for each road.
Instructor: Roger Swartz, Class length 2.5 hours.
