For beginner students, this five-week session concentrates on developing visual skills and hand-eye coordination using right brain drawing exercises such as contour and tonal drawing. Learning to see the line around forms and distinguishing values from white to black to achieve volume are paramount skills for successful drawing. This user-friendly program features regular demos and gentle critiques to foster continuing progress. This is great on its own or serves as a perfect forerunner to beginning watercolor in the second session.
