Join us for a supportive backpacking trip to Columbine Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness near Winter Park. You can be a beginner or experienced. This is a moderate hike and climb.
This moderate 6.8‑mile round‑trip hike features about 1,082 feet of elevation gain. Participants typically carry 15–20‑pound packs as we hike through forested terrain and climb toward stunning alpine lake and amazing scenery. We’ll camp at roughly 11,190 feet and enjoy a true backcountry experience with guidance, encouragement, and a comfortable group pace.
