About this event
Description
During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of embroidery. Start with preparing your hoop, tracing your design, and then learning 6 different embroidery stitches to complete your artwork. We will go through how to thread your needles, various types of fabric, how you can embellish with embroidery, and how to finish your hoop.
*All materials provided. Students may bring embroidery scissors to use, if they have them.
The Participant hereby agrees that the use of Recreation & Parks Department facilities and equipment shall be at the exclusive risk of the Participant and his/her guests or agents. The Participant further agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Columbus from any and all claims, suits, loss, damage, or injury to persons or property of any kind or nature whatsoever to the Participant and his/her guests or agents as a result of, or activities engaged in the facilities, or use of equipment.
