Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced in a chair. The class begins seated and moves to standing with or without using a chair for balance. Participants may choose to stay seated the entire time. Chair Yoga helps increase strength, flexibility, balance, and mind-body awareness. Research shows benefits may include lower levels of stress, anxiety, depression, blood pressure, cholesterol, and pain. Preregistration required.
